Tino and Pearl - Long Coat Chihuahuas
A tail of two Chihuahuas, Tino and Pearl are owed by my good friend Sue.
Prior to owning Chihuahuas, Sue and her husband Gord bred and showed Basset Hounds for many years. Like many people as they age, large dogs become much harder to deal with, so her husband and her downsized on their breed of choice, and it's quite a considerable downsize!
First, there was Emmy and Lita, two little short coat Chihuahuas. Then came the addition of Tino aka BISS Can GCH. Cogie's Valentino Star, who is the most balanced and correct Long Coat Chihuahua I have ever seen with a head to die for, a perfect bite, and such clean movement with an ideal shoulder it could make any dog person cry. Tino is Mr. Photogenic with the most adorable head tilt to boot!
Then came Pearl aka Can Ch. Linandy's Diamonds N' Pearls, a beautiful black, white, and tan long coat. Pearl is a happy go lucky little dog with a beautiful head, and beautiful structure with a ton of reach and drive in her movement.
Tino and Pearl are expecting puppies sometime in March of 2019 as well. This is a litter to look forward to. The combination of this breeding should be outstanding, because both Tino and Pearl balance each other out well, and each has what the other one lacks. I can't wait to meet them when they arrive!
Here are some photos of Tino and Pearl from back in the fall. I apologize as I haven't had as much time as I'd like to remodel the website and I'm trying hard to keep up with it between work and other stuff going on!

Tino stacked up - Assiniboine Park 2018
Tino- Head at almost 3/4 profile. He is such a beautiful dog!
Miss Pearly Pearl! I couldn't have asked for this photo to turn out any better than it did. The background is PERFECT and the fall colours made this pretty little girl's tan stand out. I can't help but be in love with this preset either <3 Oh, how I can't wait for your babies to arrive little lady!
She's so expressive, and very attentive to everything going on. She watches everything and she definitely doesn't hesitate to speak her mind when strangers walk by either!
Tino was such a good boy for this photo. He looks great against almost any background, but the fall colours really make this little guy pop!
Tino says "Save me, she's trying to eat me!"
These two had a blast running around the back yard on a chilly Saturday morning. Tino was going his best to keep up with Pearl, but Pearl was much quicker and was running circles around poor Tino. I couldn't help but laught at the little huffs he made as he tried to either get away from her or chase her.
